  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ cup (113 g) unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
  • 1 cup (125 g) confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tablespoon whole milk
  • ¼ teaspoon almond extract

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add half the vegetable oil along with flour and salt; stir to form a sticky dough.
  3. Transfer to a greased bowl and let rise for 1 hour until doubled.
  4. Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C). Line pizza pan with parchment paper and add remaining oil.
  5. Press the risen dough into the pan and create dimples on the surface; bake for 10 minutes until golden.
  6. Prepare the crumble topping by mixing melted butter with granulated sugar in a small bowl.
  7. Spread cherry pie filling over the baked crust; sprinkle crumble mixture evenly on top.
