- 1 box white cake mix (plus ingredients listed on packaging)
- 3 cups strawberry pie filling (approximately 1½ (21 ounce) cans)
- 8 ounces whipped topping (thawed)
- 2 cups fresh strawberries (sliced)
Instructions
- Prepare the cake according to package directions in a 9×13-inch pan. Allow it to cool completely.
- Use a thin wooden spoon handle to poke holes an inch apart across the cake.
- Spread strawberry pie filling over the cake, pressing it into the holes.
- Evenly spread the whipped topping over the filling and refrigerate for at least one hour.
- Before serving, top with sliced strawberries.
