Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8-inch baking dish by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine sliced strawberries with brown sugar and let them sit for about 10 minutes to release juices.
  3. In another bowl, mix rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt until well blended.
  4. Pour in melted butter and stir until the mixture resembles wet sand.
  5. Press half of the oat mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Spread the strawberry mixture on top and sprinkle the remaining crumble evenly over it.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown on top. Allow to cool completely before slicing.
