  • 1 tablespoon heavy whipping cream
  • 2 ½ cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F and lightly grease doughnut pans.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, eggs, buttermilk, vanilla extract, and strawberry jam until combined.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Gently fold in diced strawberries.
  5. Spoon the batter into the prepared doughnut pans, filling each about three-quarters full.
  6. Bake for 7 to 9 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
