Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper.
- Wash and chop strawberries into small pieces; pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter, sugar, and salt until smooth.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, whisking until fully combined.
- Gently fold in flour until just combined, then add strawberries and mix carefully.
- Transfer the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing it out evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are lightly browned; a toothpick should come out with moist crumbs.
- Cool in the pan on a wire rack before lifting out and slicing.
