  • 6 medium-sized ripe bananas (mashed)
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • ½ cup packed light brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ⅓ cup Nutella

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line muffin pans with liners.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients; mix until just combined.
  5. Warm Nutella in the microwave for about 30 seconds to make it easier to swirl.
  6. Fill muffin cups three-quarters full with batter and add a dollop of Nutella on top; swirl gently with a toothpick.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow muffins to cool in the pan for about 15 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.
