  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 cups pineapple (tidbits or chunks)
  • 2/3 cup pineapple juice
  • 1.25 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Sauté diced onion in olive oil using the Ninja Foodi's sauté function until soft.
  2. Add chicken pieces and cook until no longer pink.
  3. Stir in minced garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, and salt; cook for another minute.
  4. Add soy sauce, brown sugar, pineapple juice, and chicken broth; mix well.
  5. Incorporate pineapple chunks and bell pepper; turn off sauté function.
  6. Secure the lid and pressure cook on high for 6 minutes; quickly release steam after cooking.
  7. Mix cornstarch with water to thicken the sauce; add to the pot while stirring until desired consistency is reached.
