- Juice of 2 fresh limes (to taste)
- 1-2 small red chilis (sliced thin, optional)
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar and water. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved and then let the mixture cool completely.
- Once cooled, mix in the minced garlic and fish sauce (starting with 2 tablespoons).
- Squeeze in the juice of one lime and add sliced chilis if desired.
- Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning with more fish sauce or lime juice as needed.
