Ingredients
- 2 cups milk of choice (almond, oat, coconut, or dairy)
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- 1–2 tsp matcha green tea powder (adjust to taste)
- 2–3 tbsp maple syrup, honey, or agave (optional)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- Pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Sift matcha powder into a bowl and add warm water. Whisk until smooth.
- In a medium bowl or jar, combine milk, chia seeds, sweetener, vanilla extract, and sea salt.
- Stir in the whisked matcha until fully mixed.
- Let sit for 10–15 minutes to thicken; stir again to break up any clumps.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2–4 hours or overnight until set.
- Before serving, stir again for a smooth consistency and adjust sweetness as desired.
