- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (for glaze)
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (for glaze)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (for glaze)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your loaf pans.
- In a small bowl, mash the bananas with brown sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.
- Cream together softened butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time to the butter mixture, mixing well after each addition.
- Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the mashed banana mixture gently.
- Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for about 30-40 minutes depending on pan size.
- Allow to cool before glazing with a mixture of melted butter, maple syrup, powdered sugar, and cinnamon.
