- 1 bunch (10 oz) spinach (ends trimmed)
- 1 clove garlic (finely minced)
- 1 stalk green onion (chopped)
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- Trim the ends of the spinach and cut it into 2-inch pieces.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Add the spinach and blanch for 30 seconds until wilted.
- Transfer the spinach to an ice bath immediately to cool down and retain its color. Squeeze out excess water gently.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooled spinach with minced garlic, green onion, soy sauce, salt, toasted sesame oil, and toasted sesame seeds. Mix well to combine.
- Serve warm or chilled as a delicious side dish.
