Instructions
- Prepare the custard filling by whisking together milk, sugar, cornstarch, egg yolks, and vanilla in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in butter until melted. Cool the custard.
- Preheat oven as per croissant dough instructions. Roll out dough and cut into triangles.
- Fill each triangle with custard and roll up tightly before placing on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake according to package instructions until golden brown.
- For the ganache, heat heavy cream until simmering, then mix in chopped chocolate until smooth.
- Drizzle warm ganache over baked croissants before serving.
