Ingredients
- 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary chopped (or thyme)
- 3 tablespoons hot honey
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 3 tablespoons crumbled feta cheese
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice optional
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the chicken dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- In a mixing bowl, combine hot honey and minced garlic; stir well.
- Transfer the seared chicken to a baking dish and pour the hot honey mixture over it evenly.
- Top with crumbled feta and tuck rosemary around the chicken.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Broil for an extra minute if desired.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
