- 8 ounces full-fat cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (15.25 ounce) box of yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup holiday sprinkles
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, butter, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth using an electric mixer.
- Stir in the yellow cake mix until a thick dough forms.
- Gently fold in the holiday sprinkles without overmixing.
- Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
- Scoop out dough into 1½-inch balls and roll each ball in powdered sugar until fully coated.
- Place on prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart and bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to finish cooling.
