  • 2 tbsp Gochujang (Korean Red Chili Paste)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 4 tbsp salted butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ cup shredded cheese (parmesan/cheddar)
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • Optional: black pepper and chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a large pot and cook pasta until al dente; reserve some pasta water before draining.
  2. In the same pot, melt butter with olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Stir in gochujang, then mix in reserved pasta water and heavy cream until well combined.
  4. Add cheese to the sauce, stirring until melted and creamy.
  5. Toss drained pasta with the sauce; season with black pepper if desired.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with parsley.
