- 8 ounces goat cheese (softened)
- 4 ounces cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup fig jam
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans (or walnuts, almonds)
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme and rosemary (chopped)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened goat cheese and cream cheese until smooth.
- Spread the mixture evenly in an oven-safe baking dish.
- Spoon fig jam over the cheese mixture and spread evenly.
- Drizzle balsamic vinegar on top.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until bubbly around the edges.
- While baking, toast pecans in a dry pan until fragrant.
- Remove from oven, garnish with toasted nuts and fresh herbs before serving.
