Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and extracts.
  3. In another bowl, combine baking powder and flour; gradually add to wet ingredients until blended.
  4. Spoon rounded tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet. Shape with cookie cutters if desired.
  5. Bake for about 10 minutes or until lightly golden; cool on a rack.
  6. For frosting, mix butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
