Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and extracts.
- In another bowl, combine baking powder and flour; gradually add to wet ingredients until blended.
- Spoon rounded tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet. Shape with cookie cutters if desired.
- Bake for about 10 minutes or until lightly golden; cool on a rack.
- For frosting, mix butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread frosting on cooled cookies and top with fresh fruit before serving.
