  • 1 box of puff pastry dough (2 sheets), thawed
  • 1 8-ounce block of cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice, freshly squeezed or bottled
  • Lime zest from one whole lime
  • 2-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Fresh blueberries, rinsed and dried
  • Fresh strawberries, stems removed and cut in half
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter, for brushing
  • Sanding sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare baking sheets lined with silicone mats or parchment paper.
  2. Roll out thawed puff pastry, cut into rounds, and score lightly around the edges.
  3. In a stand mixer, blend cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, lime juice, zest, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Place two tablespoons of filling on each pastry round; top half with blueberries and the other half with strawberries.
  5. Brush edges with melted butter before baking for 15-16 minutes until golden.
  6. Let cool before serving.
