- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries
- 2 tablespoons maraschino cherry juice
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup mashed overripe banana
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare a nonstick mini loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, and baking powder. In another bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, and oil.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed; avoid overmixing.
- Split the batter into four bowls and add desired flavorings for each variation.
- Pour each flavored batter into the mini loaf pan.
- Bake for 25–28 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
