- 1 head iceberg lettuce, chopped
- 1/2 pound ground beef or turkey, cooked and seasoned
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup diced pickles
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat for about 6–8 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine chopped iceberg lettuce, diced tomato, chopped onion, pickles, and shredded cheese.
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, mustard, relish, vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to create the special sauce.
- Add the cooked ground meat to the veggie mixture and pour over the special sauce. Toss gently to combine.
- Serve immediately for optimal crunchiness.
