This soft, tender quick bread is rich, slightly sweet, and incredibly moist thanks to the sweetened condensed milk. It’s simple to make and perfect for breakfast, tea time, or a light dessert.

For the Bread:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sweetened condensed milk
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate large bowl, whisk eggs, sweetened condensed milk, and melted butter until smooth.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 40–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
