Ingredients
- 5 cups strawberries
- 1-1 1/2 cups fresh-squeezed lemon juice
- 2 cups water (for simple syrup)
- 2 cups sweetener or sugar
- additional water to adjust to taste (5-6 cups)
Instructions
- Prepare the simple syrup by heating 2 cups of water and sweetener in a saucepan until dissolved. Set aside.
- Blend 5 cups of strawberries until smooth, then strain to separate the juice from the pulp.
- In a blender, combine the strawberry juice, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Blend until mixed thoroughly.
- Adjust flavor by adding additional water to taste and sweeten further if desired.
