Ingredients
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- Zest of one orange
- Juice of one orange (about 1/2 cup)
- 1/2 cup water
- 12 ounces fresh cranberries
Instructions
- Zest the orange and set aside.
- Cut the orange in half and squeeze juice into a measuring cup.
- In a large pot over medium heat, combine white sugar, brown sugar, and water; stir until dissolved.
- Add reserved orange zest, juice, and cranberries to the pot; simmer for about 10 minutes until cranberries pop.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool completely before serving.
