Ingredients
- 20 Medjool dates
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- ¼ cup chopped peanuts
- 1 tsp avocado oil (or coconut oil)
- Flaky sea salt to taste
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and slice the Medjool dates lengthwise to remove pits.
- Smash the dates gently on the baking sheet using the bottom of a glass.
- Spread warmed peanut butter evenly over the smashed dates.
- Melt dark chocolate chips with avocado oil in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer and smooth it out.
- Top with chopped peanuts and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
- Chill in the refrigerator or freezer for at least 30 minutes before cutting into bars.
