Ingredients
- 1 pack King's Hawaiian Rolls
- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 cup half and half
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 4 tbsp butter
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and half and half until combined. Stir in vanilla extract, cinnamon, brown sugar, and salt until smooth.
- Poke holes in the bottom of each roll with a toothpick to help them soak up the custard mixture. Dip each roll into the mixture for about 30 seconds, ensuring even coverage.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Cook each soaked roll for about 30–60 seconds on each side until golden brown.
- Serve warm topped with powdered sugar and fresh fruit or drizzled with maple syrup.
