Ingredients
- 6 pieces day-old croissants
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice each croissant in half horizontally and arrange them cut-side up in a greased baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt until smooth. Pour over the croissants.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips generously on top.
- Bake for 35 minutes until golden brown and set in the center.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving; dust with powdered sugar if desired.
