  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, chilled and cubed
  • 1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chunks, divided

Instructions

  2. Place the torn sweet bread evenly in the baking dish.

  4. Pour the custard mixture over the bread; gently press down to submerge it. Soak for at least 30 minutes or overnight for deeper flavor.
  5. Stir in cream cheese cubes and 1 cup of dark chocolate chunks into the soaked mixture.
