Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts/thighs
- 1 (4 oz) can diced green chiles
- 1 (15 oz) can cannellini beans (drained)
- 1 (15 oz) can great northern beans (drained)
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 8 oz softened cream cheese
- Fresh cilantro
- Lime juice
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients; cut chicken into manageable pieces if desired.
- In the slow cooker, combine drained beans, diced green chiles, chopped onion, minced garlic, lime juice, cilantro, cumin, oregano, salt, black pepper, and chili powder. Stir well.
- Place chicken on top of the mixture in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 7 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Shred cooked chicken with two forks and stir back into the chili before serving.
