  • 1/2 cup dry white apple vinegar
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream

  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • Flour (for dredging)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken in half lengthwise and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper; coat with flour.
  2. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat; sear chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Transfer to a plate.
  3. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter; add mushrooms and Italian seasoning, cooking for about 5-6 minutes.
  4. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  5. Pour in white apple vinegar; deglaze the pan while reducing the liquid by half (about 2-3 minutes).
  6. Stir in heavy cream and return chicken to the skillet; cook for an additional 5 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
