  • ½ teaspoon EACH: Dried thyme, mustard powder
  • 3 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt, pepper, and Italian seasonings.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat; cook the chicken for about 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté the garlic cloves until golden brown. Stir in flour and gradually add the chicken broth while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  4. Incorporate soy sauce, onion powder, thyme, and mustard powder into the mixture.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet; cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Remove the chicken briefly and stir in heavy cream before serving; garnish with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
