Ingredients
- 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 10 whole cloves garlic
- 2 ½ cups chicken broth
- ⅓ cup flour (for thickening)
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 4 tablespoons Parmesan cheese (shredded)
- Salt/Pepper
- 3 teaspoons Italian seasonings
- 1 beef bouillon cube (or 1 tsp better than bouillon)
- 1 teaspoon low sodium soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon EACH: Dried thyme, mustard powder
- 3 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts generously with salt, pepper, and Italian seasonings.

- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté the garlic cloves until golden brown. Stir in flour and gradually add the chicken broth while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
- Incorporate soy sauce, onion powder, thyme, and mustard powder into the mixture.
- Return the chicken to the skillet; cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
- Remove the chicken briefly and stir in heavy cream before serving; garnish with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
