- 12 oz rigatoni pasta
- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into strips
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 6 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
Instructions
- Cook the rigatoni in salted boiling water until tender, drain, and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, sauté minced garlic in butter and olive oil until fragrant. Add beef strips seasoned with Cajun spices and cook until seared. Remove from the skillet.
- Lower the heat and melt more butter in the same skillet. Stir in heavy cream and milk, then add Velveeta cheese until melted.
- Mix in Parmesan cheese and additional seasonings for flavor.
- Combine cooked rigatoni with the sauce and return the beef to the skillet. Toss gently until coated well.
- Serve hot with optional garnishes like fresh herbs.
