Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8 ½ x 4 ½-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla until combined.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just mixed.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 60-70 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let cool briefly before brushing with melted butter and coating with the sugar-cinnamon topping.
