- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups flour
- 1 banana, medium
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, eggs, brown sugar, granulated sugar, salt, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth.
- Add flour and mashed ripe banana; mix until just combined.
- Fold in 2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×13-inch baking pan and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow brownies to cool completely before cutting into squares.
