  • 1 Large Egg (Beaten)
  • 3 Ounces Semi-sweet Chocolate

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and grease your loaf pan.
  2. Melt 5 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir in 1 tablespoon of espresso powder until combined.
  3. In a mixing bowl, mash 4 ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  4. Mix in the melted butter and espresso mixture thoroughly.
  5. Add ½ cup granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, and 1 beaten egg; stir until well blended.
  6. Gradually incorporate 1½ cups all-purpose flour and 1 teaspoon baking soda into the mixture without overmixing.
  7. Fold in 3 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chunks.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for approximately 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
