  • Pinch ground cloves
  • Pinch salt
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter (for coating)
  • About 2 tbsp reduced cider (reserved from above)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the apple cider, melted butter, sugar, egg, Greek yogurt, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
  4. Gradually combine the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just blended; do not overmix.
  5. Fill each cavity of the donut pan about two-thirds full with batter.
  6. Bake for approximately 10 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow donuts to cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack. Brush with melted butter and coat in cinnamon-sugar.
