Ingredients
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1/2 cup mixed berry preserves
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg, beaten for wash
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
- Spread the mixed berry preserves evenly over the pastry, leaving a 1-inch border. Brush melted butter mixed with vanilla extract over the preserves.
- Cut the pastry into 8 equal strips and twist each strip several times.
- Place the twists on the prepared baking sheet and brush with beaten egg wash. Sprinkle granulated sugar over each twist.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and puffed; let cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
