- 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- ½ tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Mix in softened butter and sugar until well combined.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract; stir until fully blended.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow cooling completely before frosting.
- For the frosting, beat softened cream cheese until smooth, then gradually mix in powdered sugar and salt until fluffy.
- Spread cream cheese frosting over the cooled cake and enjoy!
