- 2 medium ripe bananas
- ¼ cup peanut butter
- ½ cup chocolate chips (dark and sugar-free if preferred)
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- Flaky salt (optional)
Instructions
- Peel and slice the bananas into ½-inch thick rounds.
- Create sandwiches by spreading peanut butter on half of the banana slices and topping them with another slice.
- Freeze the assembled sandwiches for at least 30 minutes until firm.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in 30-second intervals until smooth.
- Dip each sandwich into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off before placing them back on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Sprinkle with flaky salt if desired and freeze again for about 30 minutes until chocolate hardens.
