- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 egg (room temperature)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 5 tbsp butter (melted)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup diced strawberries
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a muffin tin or line it with muffin liners.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; whisk until well mixed.
- In another bowl, beat the egg until fluffy. Stir in sugar, melted butter, sour cream, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Gently combine the wet and dry ingredients using a rubber spatula; fold in strawberries and chocolate chips carefully.
- Fill each muffin cup about three-quarters full with batter.
- Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.
