- ¾ cup wild blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- For the glaze: 2 tablespoons wild blueberries (fresh or frozen), 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your donut pan with melted butter.
- In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, sugar, milk, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
- In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually combine dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined; some lumps are fine.
- Gently fold in wild blueberries.
- Spoon batter into the donut pan about two-thirds full.
- Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- For the glaze, blend wild blueberries, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar until smooth; adjust consistency as needed.
- Once cooled slightly, dip or drizzle donuts with the blueberry glaze.
