  • 12 ounces bowtie pasta
  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
  2. In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Season and sauté the chicken pieces until browned and cooked through. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining butter if needed, pour in chicken broth, and bring to a simmer. Stir in heavy cream and cream cheese until smooth. Mix in grated Parmesan until melted.
  4. Combine the cooked chicken and bowtie pasta with the sauce, tossing until well coated. Adjust seasoning as necessary before serving hot.
