- 12 ounces bowtie pasta
- 1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Cook the bowtie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
- In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Season and sauté the chicken pieces until browned and cooked through. Set aside.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter if needed, pour in chicken broth, and bring to a simmer. Stir in heavy cream and cream cheese until smooth. Mix in grated Parmesan until melted.
- Combine the cooked chicken and bowtie pasta with the sauce, tossing until well coated. Adjust seasoning as necessary before serving hot.
