Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- 2 (1 oz) bottles red food coloring
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F.
- In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in cocoa powder, sour cream, buttermilk, vanilla extract, white vinegar, and red food coloring until combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared crust and bake for 10 minutes at 325°F. Reduce temperature to 300°F and bake for an additional hour and 15 minutes until set.
- Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then remove from pan and cool completely on a wire rack.
- For frosting: Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth; add powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Spread over cooled cheesecake.
