Ingredients

  • 8 ounces freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 medium yellow onions
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon coarse sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon seasoning salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a large rimmed baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Grate the parmesan cheese and spread it evenly in a thin layer on the parchment.
  3. Thinly slice the onions (about ⅙ inch wide) and arrange them on top of the cheese.
  4. Brush the onions with avocado oil and sprinkle with spices: paprika, sea salt, garlic powder, seasoning salt, and black pepper.
  5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Let cool for 10 minutes before breaking into chips.
