Ingredients
- 2 ripe mangos (peeled & diced)
- 2–3 habanero peppers (stemmed & seeded)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- ½ cup honey (or maple syrup for vegan)
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce (or coconut aminos)
- ½ cup water
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp salt
Instructions
- In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and habaneros; sauté until fragrant (about 1–2 minutes).
- Transfer the sautéed mixture to a blender along with mango, honey, vinegar, soy sauce, and water. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the blended sauce back into the pan and simmer over medium-low heat for about 10–12 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity as needed before letting it cool completely.
- Store in airtight jars in the refrigerator for up to 7–10 days.
