  • 23 habanero peppers (stemmed & seeded)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ cup honey (or maple syrup for vegan)
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce (or coconut aminos)
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and habaneros; sauté until fragrant (about 1–2 minutes).
  2. Transfer the sautéed mixture to a blender along with mango, honey, vinegar, soy sauce, and water. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the blended sauce back into the pan and simmer over medium-low heat for about 10–12 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity as needed before letting it cool completely.
