- 1 French baguette (sliced into 1/2-inch thick slices)
Instructions
- Preheat the broiler to high.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine diced tomatoes, minced garlic, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and salt. Mix well and let marinate.
- Dip one side of each baguette slice in olive oil and place on a baking sheet with the oiled side up.
- Broil the baguette slices for about one minute or until golden brown.
- Assemble by topping each crostini with the marinated tomato mixture and garnish with additional basil before serving.
