Ingredients
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup Dutch-process cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 4 oz semisweet chocolate (chopped)
- Rainbow candy-coated chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Melt the butter in a mixing bowl, then whisk in both sugars until smooth.
- Mix in cocoa powder and salt, followed by vanilla extract and eggs one at a time.
- Gently fold in flour and cornstarch until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20 minutes.
- For the ganache, heat heavy cream until simmering, remove from heat, add chocolate and salt, stirring until smooth.
- Once brownies cool completely, pour ganache on top and sprinkle with rainbow chips.
- Allow to set for an hour before cutting into squares.
