Ingredients
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 10 oz mini vegan marshmallows (about 4 cups)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 tablespoons molasses
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
Instructions
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter and mini vegan marshmallows together with molasses until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in ground cinnamon, ginger, and cloves (and vanilla extract if using).
- Pour the melted mixture over the Rice Krispies cereal in a large bowl and gently fold until evenly coated.
- Transfer to the prepared baking dish and press down firmly to create an even layer.
- Let cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
