Instructions
- In a bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and melted butter until combined.
- Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed.
- Fold in the diced chicken or turkey and grated cheese gently. Let the batter rest for about 10 minutes.
- Preheat your waffle iron and lightly grease it. Pour a ladle of batter into the center and cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Carefully remove the waffles and serve immediately with your choice of toppings.
