Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders or chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese sticks, cut in half if large
  • ½ cup flour
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Olive oil spray
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and spray the basket with olive oil.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dredge each chicken strip in flour, dip in the beaten egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Place coated strips in a single layer in the air fryer. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown.
  5. Warm buffalo sauce in a small saucepan.
  6. Dip each cooked strip into buffalo sauce and stuff with mozzarella cheese.
  7. Return to the air fryer for an additional 3 to 4 minutes until the cheese melts.
  8. Serve hot with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
