- 1 lb chicken tenders or chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 1 cup buffalo sauce
- 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese sticks, cut in half if large
- ½ cup flour
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- Olive oil spray
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and spray the basket with olive oil.
- In a shallow bowl, mix breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge each chicken strip in flour, dip in the beaten egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place coated strips in a single layer in the air fryer. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown.
- Warm buffalo sauce in a small saucepan.
- Dip each cooked strip into buffalo sauce and stuff with mozzarella cheese.
- Return to the air fryer for an additional 3 to 4 minutes until the cheese melts.
- Serve hot with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
