Instructions

  2. Place the lemon peels in a mason jar and add your chosen alcohol alternative. Seal tightly and let it steep in a cool dark place for at least 6 days, swirling daily.
  3. After steeping, strain the mixture through cheesecloth into a clean container to remove solids.
  4. In a saucepan, warm the milk with sugar and the split vanilla bean until dissolved. Cool completely before mixing with the strained lemon infusion.
